I feel like the most competent person in the world because I successfully fixed my computer.
The hinge broke, so I had to replace the top cover. In order to do that, though, I had to find hidden screws, take out the keyboard, completely take a part the top half, unscrew and re-screw about 5 gagillion screws and, uh, save the universe from destruction. Seriously, though, I can't believe I actually did it without breaking something important (considering Dell's crappy directions that made little to no sense and skipped steps all over the place).
