With the atmosphere created at the beginning of this chapter, you've outdone yourself - again! Though at first, I wasn't really fond of the mythical elements in your story, they're among my favourite parts now. You're always doing a great job at describing the supernatural, which gives a very original touch to every new chapter. The Becoming are a great addition to the story and to the whole PotC-universe - I can't wait to see where you're taking them!

I really like where you took the Savarna-plotline. Though I probably wouldn't have written Jack's mother as a goddess (since, again, I just love Jack to be human), you gave her a more human side in pointing out that she truly loved Teague and her son - even though she has lived many lives! There is something special about the relationship to her family, and I am grateful you didn't reduce her to being nothing more than a powerful goddess! Great job with a plotline I personally would have found far too difficult to write convincingly!

What I liked best about this chapter is the fact that you took great pains to make it clear that Jack and Lizzie love each other, because they just do - and NOT because Savarna manipulated them. I really disliked Harry Potter and the Star Wars prequels for the huge impact prophecies did have on the characters' (love-)life. I am glad you didn't choose this path!

While the picture of J/E sharing a bed without touching each other seems a bit overused in fanfiction, it's at least convincingly done in your fanfic. It adds to the sexual tension, and I rather liked the playful atmosphere while they were discussing their feelings for each other!

Also great job with the research-work in this chapter. Very few people seem to know that the Spanish merchant ships coming from the New World sailed with the Armada for protection, and I also enjoyed the new bits about Madagascar.

Great chapter - I cannot wait to read more on El Lobo; he sounds like an interesting character!
