I thought I'd update my journal tonight...it's been in hibernation lately. A ton has been going on in my life: God has been working amazingly in my life (but it sure isn't easy), school is trying to kick my butt this semester (but I'm kicking back), the Jeep is running well more than half of the time, I found a cool part-of-the-summer job at a Christian sports camp in Missouri, I'm lookin at doing a co-op for the fall semester, and I've got enough Cinammon Toast Crunch in the kitchen to last for a few weeks...life is good. Instead of going into great detail about those things, I'll tell you about what Matt Allen and I did tonight...I'll highlight the interesting words, just for fun...enjoy...
I started by heading over to Holmes after the FCA mission trip meeting to see the the 3 *at's and Tom. Matt and I then decided I should show him "Rollercoaster Road"...because that's a smart road to drive on in a lifted Jeep, right? Well, after some driving, we found ourselves at a gas station helping two confused girls fill up an apple juice bottle and thermos with gasoline. Turns out they needed some help pulling their car out of the side of a house because it had run out of gas (just tellin it like I heard it)...so, I offered to help. Hey, it sounded interesting. Turns out there actually was a car in the side of a trailer down on Airport Rd. In fact it was a silver car whose emblems and licese plate had been cleverly removed. The trio (including the angry boyfriend) also weren't too open about disclosing the owner of the car's identity. After a few good laughs at them trying to get the car out, Matt and I (unable to help b/c we didn't have a rope) left. That's about it...guess we'll know where to tell the cops to look if there is a stolen car reported. Let's see, after that Matt and I did a little nighttime offroading to get my baby even more muddy, and I came home. That's about it for my night, pretty exciting, eh? I'm going to bed now, class at 8 isn't gonna be easy (and NO, i'm not going to proofread this post...).
