Once again
the selfishness of others
overcomes what's right.
I'm sick of being
the one who tries
to keep the ties.
To be cool,
to help out.
Over and over,
taken advantage of;
left high and dry.
Anger is just the beginning...
I wonder if people know what they are doing,
when they start burning bridges.
I can't even begin to
explain how this makes me feel.
I never thought it would come from this source.
But, Life is full of surprises.
