Of interactive mills and jelly doughnuts

So I'm at the zoo with the giraffes...no, I'm in Shiawassee Park in Farmington. But the giraffes are still there. No, I'm at Dunkin' Donuts and the giraffes are gone. All is right with the world.

Later that night, a few of us went for a walk and sat on the culverts and talked about things and drank Canada Dry because the record player wouldn't work properly. Too bad--techno is downright inspirational most of the time, and when it isn't it's still fun to listen to. But Juan Atkins is always inspirational.

And then I went home. Everything was normal. I didn't go to bed. After all, it was only about 1:30. I dreamed about going out to eat with my parents, my sister and my grandpapa, and for some reason Einstürzende Neubauten was playing in the restaurant. This morning, half of that dream came true, and it wasn't the part about Einstürzende Neubauten. I have no idea what they were doing in that dream, to be completely honest.

In downtown Royal Oak, they're having the Clay and Glass festival, where people sell clay and glass. On an ordinary day, I'd be playing the fiddle and dodging the cops by the side of the street in pursuit of cash, but this isn't an ordinary day. I'm going to California. We're sorry you're having a problem. Goodbye.
