How hard do I love this AU? SO hard. I love that Adama actually has some misgivings, and acknowledges what his real feelings (both negative and vaguely positive) are for Felix. And the torture scene is just creepy. Felix still reminds me of a hybrid here :)

But I REALLY like the beginning scene- is that new? When Felix is on that verge of terrified desperate anticipation of what's coming? It's fantastic- it ratchets the tension up so well and is so... my heart sped up and I really felt Felix's fear. Some of your best writing ever in that first scene.

Loving every second of this!

Wow. I'm so in love with this story! This was tense and creepy and all things I could ask for a Gaeta fic to be. I love Tigh in this fic, too, and I love where you went with the interrogation, the way you had Adama realize what Felix was trying to do.

This really amped up the tension. I love that Tigh was the one to interupt and derail the interogation. Also, Adama's flow within the interogation worked quite well as he moved from determination to anger and fear to at least some level of understanding.

So much love for this fic, and especially this chapter. It never, ever fails to get a reaction out of me, and I've read it how many times now? (Too many, is the answer. But I really like it!) Cottle is great, and Tigh. I don't know that I ever mentioned how much I like Tigh here, being completely unsurprised and unfazed at finding out Felix planned to kill them, because clearly, that's how mutinies work. That it takes Adama so long to realize really says something about just how out of touch he is with the desperation and hopelessness of his crew. I really can't wait to see how you bring him back around. :)

Felix sounds like a hybrid in his drug induced state.
I was afraid Adama would do this. It's creepy. I love that Tigh is the one who calls Bill out on it and makes him stop. And ironically, it's Tigh that Felix doesn't trust.
