4th of July Hell!
So for the 4th most of our staff went to bend to watch the fireworks. We found a construction site that no one was using at the time and parked the car (a five setter with seven people in it!) in a pile of dirt and sat on some big rocks. It was really cool tell two of the guys put a couple of fountains under my feet that were hanging of the edge of the rock I was sitting on. I was able to move in time not to get hit, but I was not happy. Then later in the evening I had a bottle rocket shot in my direction and it came with in 6 inches of my head. I was pissed! My heart was racing, and I wanted to kill the boys.
To day was our staff bonding which I thought I was going to have problems with because I was so pissed at the two because of the other night but in the end it all went very well. We went white water rafting. Not the high class one’s, but it was still AMAZING! I had the best time! We took two boats for eight of us and when we weren’t in bad water we had water fights with buckets and water guns that were in the boat. After rafting we came back to camp and worked for a couple of hours getting dinner ready and doing some cleaning. After that some one was telling us a story about crawdad fishing with pinecones and peanut butter, and some of us thought it would be funny to go down to the lake and try. We did not catch any but it was fun to play in the water. Well I better get going, the group is getting ready to head out and we are all going to go sleep in a tepee tonight. Strange, I know, but around here I have learnt to except the unexpected! Miss you all and hope you are having as Amazing of a summer as me.
