Joshua Matthew Roe
SAND CREEK - Joshua Matthew Roe, age 21, of Sand Creek passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Bixby Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 25, 1985, in Adrian, to Eric and Brenda (Derby) Roe. Joshua had strong faith and loved the Lord. He was a 2003 graduate of Sand Creek High School and a Senior at Grand Valley State University. Joshua loved music and playing his guitar. He was a joy to all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Gerald and Sondra Derby of Sand Creek and Sandra Roe Hyatt and her husband, Russ, of Tecumseh; and he was dearly loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert L. Roe, and his great-grandparents, George and Lois Hillard, Earl and Marie Derby, Kenneth and Ruth French and Reno and Ethel Roe.
Funeral services for Joshua will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron King officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
