Mininisoo wondered, in an exchange of mails, how much you can / should change / improve / add to stuff when translating (or editing or report writing), and I told her this one one of my soapboxes.

Mmmmmmm, you write so clearly and simply, I can't see how anyone could find fault with your reasoning. (I am biased in your favour, of course, but still... ;-)

Well, I'm a switch-hitter when it comes to spelling ~ it's part of my adaptive colouration :D

Oh I love that story! The singer Enya now uses a language called Loxian, created by one of her friends, to sing in - it does actually sound lovely. Have to say I enjoy certain languages for singing... Russian is lovely, Swaheli too... and we won't mention Dutch ( ... )
