It seems as though the World In General is in 'oooo let's have this translated / edited' mode. I mean - I'm swamped but so are all the other translators and editors I know.
And yes, I know it's a good thing but there's this little voice saying 'well, better do it before the pendulum swings the other way'. Because it always does (although possibly not in the wunnerful world of crime, because that tends not to swing backwards).
Sir has just done rough accounts for so far this month. Between the Supercops and the translations and edits, I've done over double my monthly turnover (why yes, that's why I glance at self in mirror and glance away again fast). And there's a week to go yet and I still have 4 jobs on my desk. And that's also not counting the Supercops stuff that goes from 29 May to 2 June, part of which is in May.
Yes, yes, it's nice from the $$$ side and ye Gods did we need it. But... sheesh.
