Today the Christmas party was super fun, I am thoroughly enjoying the
frog tile that I recieved from the white elephant gift exchange thanks Jen/Kenny!
And Travis, I'm sure that Lee is going to thoroughly enjoy the
dryer vent and oven mits! And joel, bravo on the
wrapping job!
News of note for my fellow music lovers:
Plumb is coming out with a new CD in february! Listen to the two songs on the website, they are phenominal!
Sometime next year The
Goo Goo Dolls
are also coming out with a new CD, this may only excite me, but they
were my favorite band in middle school and I still appreciate them
because they have a unique sound.
Getting ready for some time off work, and time to spend with mi familia
and on a road trip/conference with the people I love and to grow closer
to God!
Verse that I got today: "Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of
life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in
me will never be thirsty. But as I told you, you have seen me and still
you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and
whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from
heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And
this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that
he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For
my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in
him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
John 6:35-40
Yeah, Jesus is pretty amazing, and I really needed to hear this today,
I think it helped me because I've been feeling a bit complacent, and
lacking energy. I guess I just needed to be reminded of God's
forgiveness and faithfulness. I don't know what the deal is, but I
remember feeling pretty down last year about this time too. For some
reason, I feel like everyone else had a better time at Faithwalkers
than I did, and I'm really praying that God will soften my heart so
that this year I can hear Him, and take something amazing and
significant away.
Peace out yo's.......heart, B
