1) Brendon ran away from England at the age of fourteen. It was the first time he truly realized how far just talking can get you. He mostly just talked his way over and ended up in the Metroplex area a year later.
2) Anything before the age of fourteen, he doesn’t talk about to anyone. The only man he ever told since he arrived in America was an old man who is now six feet under - God Rest his Soul.
3) Lucas Hawthorne was the closest thing to a father that Brendon had. It was because of Lucas' help and never ending faith in him that Brendon finished school and received a diploma. When he wasn’t attending high school he was working his way up in the bar. He took over the bar when Lucas couldn't manage it anymore.
3) He gave college a shot but it wasn't for him. He has always learned best by actually doing something and not sitting in a classroom watching as life passed him by.
4) He puts on a front to the general public but out of everyone in his life, the only one who truly doesn’t buy his bullshit is his assistant manager. It’s with her urging that he takes off a couple of nights a week or he would otherwise live at the bar.
5) He goes to the gym during the midnight hours to work out and release the stress of the day.
6) He doesn’t like to sleep - it’s when he’s asleep that he dreams and it’s in his dreams that his past comes back to haunt him.
7) Despite not having any formal business classes - he does the books for the bar himself, doing very well at it if he does say so himself.
8) He used to be ashamed of his snaggletooth but has no urge to ever get it fixed.
9) He enjoys action movies over horror/gore movies any day.
10) His assistant manager may be the best friend that he’s ever had but only because she has worked with him for over five years. She’s also the only one who regularly calls him ‘Collins’ or ‘Brendon’.
