a madball meets bury your dead solo project (i play guitar, bass, trumpit(ska!?!?!?), and keyboards aww shit wuddup) would be significantly lacking specific crucial aspects

if you want to play music you shouldnt have to wait around for others to play with you. just book little shows with guys in bands you know, just say it'll be a ten-minute set. then keep doing stuff like that and eventually alot of people will see you, and you'll get recognition as a musician. then when you ask around for people to collaborate with, you'll have the (cough) 'street cred' (oh cliche mee) and people will take you seriously.
