100 words January 10 entry
I seriously don't know where these are coming from, but each day I'm sitting there making an effort to write something interesting or entertaining, and I'm getting some lovely surprises.
This really tickled me pleasantly.

"I want an icecream, mum."
"That's not the correct way to ask, young man. Try again."
"I want a chocolate icecream?"
"Still not right"
"I want a Choc-Wedge?"
"No."
"Then give me a Drumstick."
"Uh-uh."
"I want an Eskimo Pie then."
"You're still missing the point."
"Can you give me a clue?"
"It'll just take one word."
"Icecream?"
(exasperated) "You just have to say please."
"Pleas? Pleas? What the hell do you think I've been doing all this time mum? I've lost count of the number of pleas I've made to get this stupid chocolate-covered frozen glob!"
