Pic Spam
So, Mom came down to help out with the house. We worked on the yard, set up the living room, finished unpacking the kitchen and the dining room, and mom painted the purple bathroom. In fact, my mom took all of these pictures. My mom is the best mom in the history of moms.

The SpongeBob Room
The bathroom formerly known as the the Purple Bathroom
The Shower has issues, that's why there's no curtain. Or faucet handle thingie. I need to call a plumber, because neither I nor the handyman know where to get the parts to fix it.
The Orange Bathroom
We didn't paint this one, because if we did, we wouldn't have had a shower. It needs to be killzed before painting, so we're looking at a minimum of three coats of paint, plus those stupid glass shelves are going, so there's some spackling to be done... Yeah. I'll get to that sooner or later.
The dishwasher is leaking... I need to pull it out and see where she's leaking and fix it. Or replace it.
[hopes that it doesn't need replacing]
Anyway. I've picked out a chandelier for the dining room -- it matches the lamp in the living room -- and they have matching pendants so I can put some much-needed light over the sink. (They also have matching flush mount fixtures that I can replace that ugly-assed fluorescent fixture with.)
But that'll happen later.
I have a large map of Philmont that I need to get framed up. It's so big that I think I might have to have it done professionally. I'm going to hang it next to the closet doors on the wall in the dining room where that plant on the tv tray is. For the wall where the hutch is, I'm thinking of maybe getting some old map reproduction prints.
