So I´m sitting here awake and I really should be in bed, but I am kind of plagued by thoughts right now. I just watched a video about an Archbishop here named Oscar Romero and I just...I dunno his story plagues me. Basically, he was made archbishop shortly before the civil war broke out in 1981. It's gotta be really diffiult to see all f that or hear about it. Most importantly though is that you remember that each and every country has its history. America has its History, Europe and other places also and sometimes history isn't always nice, but its what makes people do what they do and thrive. In respect to where El Salvador is right now with their history 155 dollars may not seem like a lot, but its more than it was in previous years. The important thing to remember quite simply is that you can look upon this situation and be greatful for what you've been born into. While that may not be much consolation for the devastation down there, the only thing you can do is educate...miss you a lot!

well thank you...I think you´re right that I can´t let it break me and that many places have had a horrible history. But at the same time I can´t just be grateful for what I´ve been born into and act like I´ve never seen any of this...its not fair for me to say ¨well would you look at my luck and fuck everyone else¨ya know? I mean I am not saying that I can change everything because I can´t, but yeah...I dunno I feel I need to do something. Especially because the thing about El Salvador is that most Americans were led to believe that this country was a success story, an American victory over the dirty communists. And its not. There are malls and some commercial centers that the seven or so rich families in this country can go to and we say ¨oh what a victory!¨but the poor here are still exploited as ever. Their government is such our little puppet that El Salvador is the only country that has soldiers in the Iraq War. And maybe you think thats not big deal but as they´re doing that we´re deporting their immigrants to the U.S. because ( ... )
