I also just read an article about how many kids are taking anti-psychotics right now (apparently like 4 in every 100) and the company had to say that "given the amount of kids taking these drugs, we definitely need to do research into their safety for children."
Really??? HOLY SHIT.....REALLY? You mean you actually want to make sure their safe before you make young children take them??? What a fucking novel idea!

Seriously if I did not have enough reason to worry about the fact that kids are being put on mental illness medication if they are rowady and can't pay attention (gee...I wonder why since all they do is watch television and play video games) now they say they don't even know if these drugs are safe for kids or have the same side effects as they do in adults. AND IT SAYS IT ON THE LABEL. ON THE LABEL. Like...didn't anyone WORRY about that?
OH and to top it all off...right after that I read how the bird flu is apparently spreading into the middle east, Africa, and Europe.
Now I remember why I never liked the news.
