The Station Agent has a lot of scenes where the one guy is being friendly, but the other guy just wants him to go away. I like those. It could have used a better soundtrack.

Gates of Heaven was a set of interviews with slow-talking people, with not many visual cutaways. It was still moving a lot of the time. I liked how they sort of outed a character in their documentary.

Battleship Potemkin has been eclipsed for everything that made it important in the 1920s. If you watch it, try to find a good commentary.
