and it's hard to let go when there's always something there reminding me.....

So this has been a rough two weeks.

We lost Gloria last week, her wake was friday and her funeral was on saturday. That was hard. I mean she was only 60, how is it possible she's gone? That was hard, I feel like my grandmother has died, because, she was in esscense a grandmother to everyone. She was cool. She loved Aerosmith and she had a favorite spice girls song. I will miss her alot.

Of course the closer we get to the break, the more work we have piled upon us, or at least the work with greater importance. I have to do an english paper on Grendel vs. Beowulf, and that will not be pleasent to say the least.

Second term is always a pain in the ass for me because it seems like I never get a break it just whirls by and theres two Holiday breaks then boom, report card. Oh well.

We have gotten a christmas tree, a puppy and a few pounds lighter since my last post. The tree is cool, the dog is messed and the pounds have no say in this as we have destroyed them.

However, I can see the stress begin to melt as we had a field trip today for T.V. and Video production. We saw "Good night and Good luck", it was a great film. Mr. Morneau has been around the school lately helping to rid DHS of its old and unusable AV equipment. He went on the trip with us today and all he said was

"You could replace 'communisn' with 'terrorism'" and he signed. his didn't sit well with me. I felt a little unsettled to say the least. His implying that the communism terror of the 50's was comparable to the terrorisn in the new millenium isn't all that of, but it isn't exactly the same, there was no threat with communism. There is a threat with terrorism. I don't agree with the war, but really who in the Northeast of the US ever agrees with anything washington does?

exactly.

So anyway, me and Jess are still dating, me and cate are still bff's and mollz is still my therapist. So as the world keeps spinning we can all sigh in relief, we are here today and will be tomorrow.

*just in case*

Merry Christmas!

Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Kwanzaa!

.....Happy Holidays i am slightly opposed to in that it generalizes all the winter holidays instead of appriciatring their individual differences and beauty. Say what u want to, but mean it!

.....just don't say happy winter....that's just silly....
