Hey all -
I want you guys to know how much it helps and how much I appreciate everyone's support right now. I'm not up to the task of replying individually right now - it took me four tries over like five or six days to get that post out - but I'm reading and will be going back to that post again and again in the next few months.
Other people who deserve a mention - without my sister and my dad this whole situation would be fucked up x10. A lot of the work of the next few months is going to fall on them, and it's only because of their willingness to dive in and do whatever it takes that all of this is even possible.
Also - I just had a conversation with my boss and at her suggestion I'm going to try to figure out a schedule that allows me to work from home (i.e., my dad's home) two or three days a week for the duration. How freaking cool is that, yo?
Nightmarish as all this is, I'm really, really lucky, and Lucy and I both appreciate it.
