To vote or not to vote?

I know I've been neglecting my poor LJ page for a while. I should post something happy. But I need to get this off my chest.

This election sucks so bad that I'm honestly considering just not voting for anyone in the presidential campaign. I thought about throwing away my vote on the libertarian; but he sucks, too (not as much as Clinton and Trump. But sucking less than those two isn't something to be proud of)

As a feminist, a conservative, and someone who believes character and demeanor matters in a President, I cannot in good concience vote for Donald Trump

While I disagree with hyperbolic idiots in the media making Trump out to be the next Hitler; I do agree that he's an idiot man-child whose history of Democratic allegence and behavior should have made him ineligable to run on the GOP ticket. And the idea of him winning scares me because
(a) he clearly has no clue what he's doing and...
(b) he's so petty and vengeful that it would not surprise me if he dropped a nuke on France because some French whore gave him an STD. In addition, I believe he'll likely spend more time trying to find a reason to lock up Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, and other conservatives who spoke out against him (the same way President Obama did with Dinesh D'Souza) than he will running the country

As a feminist and a believer in the rule of law, I cannot in good concience vote for Hillary Clinton. Putting the Clintons back in the White House would be like putting Phillip and Nancy Garrido in charge of a kindergarten.
It makes me sick to think that our first female president will likely be an evil woman who got to where she is by covering for her corrupt, rapist husband and riding his spooge-stained coattails into power. A vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for rape culture. And, unlike the average Democrat, I believe that rape (and enabling rapists) is wrong no matter who the perpatrator is.

Also, I have worked for government agencies before. So I know for a fact that what Hillary did with her private server e-mails should have at the very LEAST made her ineligable for high public office. When I briefly worked at FEMA, I attended a meeting where all the employees were told that we would be hit with FELONY CHARGES if we mishandled the information that we worked with (even if we did it by accident). And I never had access to anything related to naional security (just the personal info of people applying for FEMA benefits). Hillary Clinton clearly believes that she's above the laws that us peasants have to follow. And the worst thing about that is....she's right. For whatever reason, Democrats have decided that the Clintons are our new royal family and therefore don't have to follow the same laws that the rest of us do. And it'll only get worse if they have the power of the White House again.

The ONLY convincing arguement I've heard to vote for Trump is the fact that, if he were to win, both the left and right wing media would be on him like white on rice and would call him out if he so much as farted in an elevator. If Hillary Clinton wins, we'll just be treated to more self-described "feminists" talking about how it's okay if Bill Clinton is a rapist and Hillary Clinton helped intimidate his victims because the Clintons voted to keep abortion legal (note: I'm not just saying that to be hyperbolic! I've heard liberal friends tell me this TO MY FACE and people on TV have done it, too)

A disturbing amount of Democrats believe that it's okay for a man to rape a woman as long as he supports her right to get an abortion after he's done with her. THAT is one of the main reasons I can NEVER vote Democrat.

tl;dr
While I'm sympathetic to the "side with Stalin to stop Hitler" mentality that a lot of Republicans are using to justify a vote for Trump. I'm still uncomfortable with it because, even if you defeat Hitler, you're still stuck with Stalin afterward.

....maybe I should just put myself down as a write-in candidate. :P
