1970s Laff-A-Lympics comics: Better than the actual show!

So, I got two Laff-A-Lympics comic books for the heck of it a few months back. And I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the books are a thousand times better than the cartoon they're based on!

Seriously the ONLY Olympics I ever saw as a kid.

I don't remember very much of the cartoon, but wow, the scans DO look a thousand times better!

It was a cute read. And I honestly really liked Elroy's attitude in the last panel with the bully. "Go ahead." I actually tried that a couple times in school. Most of the time, I walked away unscathed. Only once did I get hammered.

That's true. But I can't help wondering if Elroy's bravery had something to do with the fact that his gigantic pet dog was standing right behind him. LOL
