Slidell
I'm really upset right now. Hurricane Katrina passed directly over Slidell, Louisiana, which is where I grew up and where my parents now live. There is absolutly NO coverage of Slidell. All of the coverage is of New Orleans, which did not get hit nearly as bad. They lived right on the water and I'm trying to prepare myself for the fact that their house is probably not there anymore. No one can even get into the city. Apparently everything past Fremaux is obliterated, which means the apartments that they owned will be gone too. It's very frustrating to know absolutely nothing that's going on and not be able to do anything but sit here and worry.
