in the interest of adding something of substance to this sorry excuse for a journal, and because i really had nothing else to do on the ski lifts tonight but think of stupid stuff like this, i think i'll list my senior year revelations thus far, month by month:
August: first apartment - which leads to first cooking adventure
September: first alcohol poisoning - which leads to first time a margarita isn't appealing
October: first time open windows scare me... oh, and first week with five nervous breakdowns - which leads to first thesis draft
November: first (and second) very un-bre-like actions - which leads to first late arrival to a football game
December: first minivan trip to amish country - which leads to first 911 call for a stupid driver
January: first snowstorm driving experience - which leads to much fun and one slid-through stop sign. oh oh, and first time i actually stick to letting you-know-who go - which leads to refreshing self-esteem and inner peace
February thus far: first time booking a solo plane trip - which leads to nervous leg-spasms mixed with stomach butterflies
Coming in March: first solo flight and first time in Spain - which will lead to much fun and shenanigans with my liz
Coming in April: first Relay For Life - which will lead to ulcers mixed with relief
Coming in May: first (and maybe last) college graduation - which will lead to a full-time job, hopefully either at home or in the south
yep, that'll about do it. bring on another insomnia-ridden night!
