the world at night
i saw this picture (http://www.atimes.com/atimes/images/earth_night.jpg )and i was mesmerized.
I dont know what it is about maps and globes, but they are so interesting to me. when i was little, as im sure many other children did, i used to pick out where i wanted to go. i swear i could stare at that picture for hours. picking out places i want to go, imagining what it would be like to visit there. I dont know if this makes sense, but some of the places in the world are so amazing its hard for me to believe they exist, unless i would see them. i dont know what it is but its kind of like, if i cant see it, it doesnt exist. you could show me all the pictures in the world, but unless im there, seeing it with my own eyes its hard for me to believe. i dont know why that is. maybe my trip will change that. seeing it will make it real. Schrödinger would get me.
it makes me so happy thinking about making a home somewhere. what it will look like, what it will sound and smell like. my studio that ive been dreaming of forever. it gets more and more beautiful in my mind as i refine the design. even if it doesnt happen for a while, the idea of it is wonderful.
time to dream. :)
