Emma snorted and looked down at her stomach under the cute pink article of clothing. "I swear you're going to play dress-up with her, aren't you? Yes of course...put it in the basket. It's very charming." She smiled at Monty. He was too adorable!

With one hand on her stomach Emma rubbed gently. It seemed like these past few months had flown by and she was only about five weeks away from her due date! Where had the time gone?

He placed his hand over hers. "How you feeling, sweetheart? Back hurting? We can sit down for a minute if you want. I'm sure there's a bench somewhere. I mean, this is a store for fucking pregnant women." He laughed.

"Language," she scolded. Emma firmly believed that the growing baby could hear them and was always getting on Monty for his choice of words. "I'm alright...a bit hungry but I can wait until we're done." Lies. She'd be begging for food soon!

"Sorry." He grinned unrepentantly, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "I'll buy you something as soon as we leave, ok?"

"Alright...thank you." Emma smiled sweetly and then continued down the aisle, looking at all of the clothing. "Shouldn't we buy her something yellow? She may not want to be a girly-girl baby...ooohhhh purple!" Emma exclaimed, picking up a cute purple onesie with a panda bear on the chest.

"Oh my God!" Monty darted into the boy section and held up a Batman onesie. "Pleeeeease?"

Emma paled. "No," she said simply, shaking her head.

"Emma, come on." He pouted adorably, flashing her his best puppy eyes.

She looked away to avoid the power of those eyes!

"No, Monty! Our daughter will not be dressed as Batman when she has no say in the matter! Present her with such an outfit at fifteen and then let her decide..."

"But I have to train her right! It has to start early!" He continued pouting. "And it's soooo cute!"

"When you're carrying a child for nine months, only then do you have such a right!" she fired back.

She brooded and finally waved her hand for him to put it in the cart. "You're knackering me out."

Emma narrowed her eyes at him, having a flash of pregnancy anger and irritation. It quickly turned to a wave of uncontrollable sadness and then zipped straight to happiness. She was so overwhelmed at that moment that Emma's eyes filled with tears and she started crying. "I just w-want to be a good mother!" Emma squeaked out.
