finally!!
well, okay. Finally the first time I've had more than 5 minutes to myself in over a month. Literally. Things have been so crazy I'm not sure where to start! Well, we've been completely overwhelmed with wedding mania as now there's just over 5 months to go. I went for my first dress fitting [yay!] a few weeks ago and got that settled and taken care of. The nice side of that was to actually see that since my surgery I've dropped about 15 pounds because my dress was huge on me. So now I'm back to where I want to be and healthy, and I feel great day-to-day again... no more pain! yay!
So if the stress of Brett and I working 60-hour weeks right up until 3 days before the wedding wasn't crazy enough, we decided this would be an excellent time to really test our nerves and patience and, well, our sanity. So we bought a house! yes... really! We bought a 3 bedroom home in Lehighton [where the property values just keep going up- good for us!] and we're in the midst of packing things here and buying tools for the new place- we're planning on doing a lot of work to make it our own. So our closing is March 31st and inbetween there's still plenty to do. So things are a bit stressful on our end, but a good kind. We're thrilled. Now the wedding season is beginning.... we have ours, my aunt and my cousin, brett's cousin, and my totally awesome HLM pinkhollywood and her fiancee andwhat_atoddd that just set their wedding date for Oct 7, 2007 [and I'm her maid of honor... so HA!]
Anyway, there's wedding stuff I need to get done today and Brett's on his way home from work.
