so busy!
Well, my birthday is only 3 days away. I actually didn't even realize it until yesterday. Everything's been so crazy around here with work and the holidays, and the wedding. It's quite nuts.
Friday I went to work despite 10 inches of snow on the ground and actually made it home by 6:30- the first I was home before 8pm in nearly a month! Both Brett and I have been working absolutely insane hours, but i guess whatever you have to do to keep the money rollin in, right? Saturday we had the Christmas party for his job... it was nice. I got to meet the people he talks about from work so it was nice to put names with faces finally. We left a little early cause he's on call all week and I was beat. Yesterday we spent most of the day cleaning and then while he napped I had a bunch of stuff to get done for the wedding...particularly getting rates and flights for our honeymoon! yay! We're so excited- we can't wait to be able to take a vacation! We signed up for all the pre-cana stuff we have to do with the church, and i think we'll be sitting down with the baker this weekend for the cake- yum! then after the new year we'll be full steam ahead with the caterer and the flowers and everything else you could possibly think of. I have a feeling the next 7 months are going to fly by!
So I'm now working 10-12 hour days every day. But we're really getting all the goals met that we're supposed to, which is a plus. I'm still selling on top of it, and I can't believe I don't collapse when I get home at night. Brett's working just about the same hours, if not a little longer cause he leaves around 6:30am.
