Update
I've been really bad at updating here of late.
Things are going pretty well in the McAllister household. I'm back in work, doing agency nursing in the district. It's interesting, but not exactly challenging. It's mon-fri 8.30 - 5pm which is great and means I can still have a normal family life out of work. So far so good.
Duncan's settling into his new school well. He seems to have picked up a girlfriend already, a girl called Ruby. Apparently they were inseperable at afterschool club yesterday. They don't get homework, which has made him very happy. He's also made friends with the boy next door, a Polish kid, and there are two girls on the other side who stay with their dad at weekends. He was playing with them last Sunday and they got on really well.
Dessie's Dessie. His work seems to be annoying, but nothing he can't cope with.
It's great being near to so many friends. I went fabric shopping with Toni last weekend, and got a concept for Empire. We're heading to Aylesbury next weekend to invade the Wells'.
I've got a stall at a food fair in two weeks time so need to get cracking on stock for that. My first foray into the English markets.
I think this could be a very good move for us. So far it's looking promising.
