So instead of KnightStock (UCF's version of Woodstock basically, Jason Mraz is one of the acts), me & my AEPhi roomie Beverly went to see the screening of Casanova (released on X-mas Day) which is based on the diaries or whatever of Giacomo Casanova. Yea there were so many of her sisters there, at first I thought it was a Hillel event lolz but it's not coz Catholicism is in the movie. The only people I recognized were some pple from VASA & one of the G-TAs for my MicroBio lab Kim. But yea I think it's super-cute that Theta's event is called CASAnova.
The only trailer that was showed was the one for the Disney basketball movie Glory Road coming out next year.
Anyways, Heath is such a cutie playing that notorious seducer Casanova LOL. It's rated R which I really don't understand, it should've been PG-13 or something coz there's really nothing that bad about it. Well maybe that one scene in the first 5 mins where they go over like a lil tiny summary of his recent many conquests with one scene almost having this girl's husband walk in on Casanova & her copulating. It's more like moral issues I guess for ratings...especially when it comes to the corruption by Casanova of many of the nuns at the convent LOLz. Well the movie takes place in Venice in the 1700s, and apparently the Catholic Church had control over Venice or something coz they were chasing Casanova thru-out the movie for fornication "crimes" & trespass into the convent, debauchery, among other things. Victoria is hilarious with her hungry actions toward Casanova! Victoria is supposed to be that Venician Virgin chick & according to her father, she's never seen or talked to any young men or anything. The way her father was describing her living style, it seemed like she's never even dated a guy. There is no way...That one fellatio scene with her under the table hiding from her father & Casanova in the chair at the Ball while talking to Victoria's father and Francesca & her mother is sooooo funny. Then Victoria falls out of love with Casanova & in love with Francesca's brother after seeing him outside with a bunch of courtesans gushing how he's amazing enough to be a legend after their orgy fest & such LOL. Then Casanova & Francesca are caught by the Catholics & are about to be hanged; Francesa is being charged with heresy for writing feminine books (under a masculine name), they escape with Francesa's former fiance Papprizzio who hooks up with Francesa's mother instead...totally messed up, the guy who's supposed to be her husband becomes her step-father and they all become actors/actresses for the theatre that Casanova's mother is a part of after they escape. So Casanova's reputation kinda dies. Victoria & Francesa's brother stay behind & get married but don't stay together for long because over time, he's out & about (from his time with the courtesans) & later takes on that repuation of & becomes the new Casanova...
Yea I don't think very far right conservative people would want to watch this movie now...LOLz, I'm pretty conservative to an extent & I liked the movie =p
Haha, just thinking about guys I know...yep I know a modern day Casanova...lol I need to get away from him haha, he's such a lyer, like I'm gonna believe his sweetness...yea he's gonna be unnamed coz he reads my journal LOL...
