This is ridiculous...we get power back for like a day or so...
Fri nite/Sat morning around 1:30am, I turn into my street... looks normal, with streetlamps
I hear this awfully loud & familar sound along the whole street...I get out of the car & walk up to my house...open the door...
It's PITCH BLACK inside...well is if it wasn't for the oil lamp in the living room.
Power is OUT again & the sound I heard is made from about 10 generators or so on my street!!!!!
OMG That was not cool coming home to a power outage. I think we had just gotten power back on Thurs & like a day later it's out again! grrr...another reason why I wanna live on the mainland. Apparently power went out at around 11pm Fri nite.
About 12 hrs later around 11am on Sat, the power came back on just as the Allstate insurance person was givin a tour around our house... sooo the hurricane deductable is no longer $500...wow that's surprising after all these FL 'canes... the deductable is now around $2250 for the main part (older) of the house, and $2250 for the addition (newer) part of the house...so that's $4500...blah...craziness...
Sat night/Sunday morning...well we were supposed to go to AL...blah, had to change plans last min...hopefully this weekend we can tho...
Then I gotta go to New Orleans for a weekend...gosh everything is like so behind...
I wish I didn't have to leave next month... ='(
