Free!
I did it, I quit school and I feel great! I am very relieved that I don't have to worry about working on the computer all day. I came out of my last classes with B's which proves that my heart really wasn't into my work. I'm hoping to go back next year but we'll just see what happens.
I'm trying to put together a list for my baby registry so Brandon and I can go put one together tomorrow. We have a shower on August 1st, which I've been pulling together addresses for all morning. So far I have on my need list (thanks to Veed and her infinite wisdom. All hail Veed!):
1. Baby towels
2. A Medela breast pump
3. "My Brest Friend" nursing pillow (only available on-line from Wal-Mart...)
4. An exersaucer
5. Possibly 2 car seats. Brandon and I end up trading vehicles quite a bit and it'd probably be easier to simply have a car seat in each vehicle.
6. A baby wrap
7. Outlet plugs
8. Cabinet stoppers
9. Onesies
10. Possibly a baby monitoring system, but he'll be staying in our room with us quite a bit. We have a co-sleeper crib that we can set up directly next to the bed so I don't have to be afraid of either Brandon or me rolling over on him.
We already have two playpens, both of which are rather difficult to set up. We'll probably use the easier of the two regularly and use the other for when we travel to Mom's. I know there's still a lot more that I need on this list. Any of you great mommies out there have any suggestions, please throw them at me! I'll take all the help and advice I can get! Also please send me addresses! One of my co-workers gave me an awesome idea for birth announcements and I would love to send one to all of my friends.
