Formally went by lj name "saramiskismet" but I've since deleted that journal because I wanted to purge how much personal info could be available about me on the internet.

I will primarily be using this journal only to comment on communities I was a member of with my last account, that's why this journal seems so bare. Not a sock.

No, it was a preemptive kind of thing. One of my professors started freaking out about us posting things that happen in class online and that if her tenure got threatened she'd start looking up all our shit. So. Yeah, don't want anything I've said getting out.

I quoted something she said about pornography (WITHOUT crediting her) and a friend took a photo during lecture on Queer Theory in art with my friends Grant and Mary being compared wrt their dress. She bugged out.

AND THERE IS A SCIENTOLOGY AD ON MY JOURNAL WHY.

And it's cause LJ automatically starts you off with a "plus" account, that has 6 icon spaces, but ads. You either have to downgrade to a standard account with no ads and 3 icons, or buy. (or find a custom layout that blocks them for you, since I know this is possible.)
