Something I wrote...last summer...
the simplest things are always hidden when you wear a blindfold over your heart
On a clear night when the sky is open the stars come down and do something spiritual to a heart waiting and passionately desiring to see the true importance of existence. An experience such as this is not merely an "eye-opener". It is also more than a "character-builder". Life changing experiences do not always follow a physiological near-death experience, because sometimes it is not just our body that is dying, but our faith--our innocence--our soul, the essence which quietly yet strongly exists and enables us to believe in that greater Being...to believe that we are protected and there is a plan for us...a gentle reminder that shows us "I am making your life---I am the Almighty planner---Hold on to Me and all that I have given to you---Be thankful"
and...I believe...I trust...I understand...I'm thankful.
