Today blew. Chunks. Hard. Like food poisoning of the soul.
Though my boss did listen to my complaints and bought me tea and let me leave early, so that was a bit soothing.
The roomie is in Vegas until Sunday afternoon, which is nice.
I turned the A/C on and should turn it off now because it's getting chilly. But I kind of love it.
Planning on having a handful of friends over tomorrow to throw some meat on the grill and eat it. That will be tasty. And it gives me a solid reason for cleaning the grill (as well as the rest of the apartment).
If I get enough cleaning/organizing done by Sunday morning, I might be able to finish Holy Musical, B@tman! And/or watch David Tennant in The Minor Character.
I'll also hopefully finish Immortals, along with my real-time written review/commentary which may be the most nerdtastic-reference-laden piece of writing I've ever done. I got halfway through it last night and already am referencing: Doctor Who, ASoIaF, Merlin, Destiny's Child (and Beyonce's solo career), Apocalypse Now, The Vampire Diaries, Star Trek, Oedipus Rex, and more...
Really not looking forward to returning to work on Monday, but at least I'm having a career coaching session on Wednesday.
Thursday I'm going to Disneyland. Hurrah.
