1. The Doctor Who Christmas Special is called "The Doctor, The Widow, and The Wardrobe," and it looks smashingly adorable (and a bit creepy, which is always fun). And near as I can tell will be aired on BBCA ON Christmas again. So, yippee!
2. Kit Harington has just been cast to play Arthur in a Sherlock Holmes-esque Arthur & Lancelot buddy movie (potentially series of buddy movies). This is awesome sauce... except that there's not way I would leave the love of my universe, Jon Snow, for the guy they cast as Lancelot. Like, ever. Now if they had cast Luke Evans, I might have to think about it (and by 'think about it' I mean 'find a way to keep them both').
3. BBC and HBO have partnered to do a miniseries of "Wolf Hall"... which I still need to read. And for now it looks like it's only been commissioned for the BBC, but hopefully we'll get it in the states. Someday. Likely years later as we do Downton and Sherlock and Marple and State of Play.
4. December = State of Play on BBCA.
Good job, guys. Only took you six years.
5. Watched Jamie Cullum and Hugh Laurie's performance from the CiN Manchester Rocks concert. Made.Of.Win.
6. It's Steven Moffat's 50th birthday today. I foresee a Coupling marathon in my future...
