In A Song of Ice and Fire, You Read or You Die

I seriously cannot stop reading these books.

OK, lie.
I can, because I have co-workers who don't read as fast as I do, and I keep slowing down for them to catch up (which they haven't done since about 2/3 through book three). I don't want to, though. I want to read, devour, escape... I want to dive into Westeros and learn with Arya, bitchslap Cersei, run screaming from uber-perv Petyr Balish, hang out with Dany and her dragons (and give her a hug), engage in a lighthearted battle of wits with Tyrion, offer another hug to Stannis, get Brienne and Jaime to hook up... and do all manner of things to and with Jon Snow.
Seriously, Kit Harington-inspired hotness aside, the character of Jon Snow is just... ugh. Want.

After yet another ASoIaF related in-joke exchange joke in my office one of the 'other' co-workers said his greatest fear right now is dedicating himself to studying some foreign language, like Punjabi, only to go to India and have everyone talking, in that language, about this series -- he'd still be lost, wondering why everyone in the hundred-and-four degree heat is saying 'winter is coming.'

Yeah, those of us into Westeros are INTO Westeros.
And I love it.

So what about my LJ peeps? Have you given in yet (I know a couple of you have)? How far have you gotten? Who do you love? Who do you hate? Am I going to have to fight you for Jon Snow? Because I will.... oh, I will.
