The time, it is changing

...and I am so not a fan. At least my body is not a fan. I do like the fact that it was 7:30pm last night when darkness finally fell (and it does fall here in LA. Seriously. One minute it's 'twilight,' next minute it's dark. Stupid equator.). I didn't even so much mind that for now it's still dark-ish at 6:30am so my body doesn't feel compelled to be stark awake then when in actuality I don't need to be up for another 20 minutes. However, my entire body is really not a fan of this internal-clock f-up. According to several random NOTErs, the body typically takes 2-3 days to adjust to this time shift. Let's hope that's all it takes -- I have enough going on right now that I don't need to add my body freaking out on me (moreso than normal) to the list.
Titus is closed. Truly. Finally. Thus I am also officially, completely, totally off the AMC. I've got some things to report for the postmortem, but other than that I'm in the clear. I have tech for YWP tomorrow night, then running the show this weekend (and next if I'm in town, but it's looking like I won't be). For some reason I volunteered to possibly run lights for Holy Ghost, excepting one or two weekends. We'll see if that happens. I told the committee head I had to get through this week first, and maybe next before I give my final word on the matter. Why I said I would even consider it, I'm not sure... well, I guess I have some reasons. First, I want the SM to join the company and running lights for her would give me ample opportunity to entice her. Second, at most it's 6 weeks, and that's only provided I can't go to Laura's wedding OR Mackinaw (I better be able to go to at least one...). Third, it'll be the first full production with our spiffy new lights, and I'm kind of tech-geeked about seeing and playing with them (which I'll actually get to start doing tomorrow). Fourth, well, I'm not going into the fourth reason right now. Perhaps later.

I'm waiting for final word from mom, and have to talk to my boss about the time off, but there's a 95% possibility I will be in GR from 3/25-3/30 for grandma's memorial (which will either be the 27th or 29th in RiversCubed... that's one of the things we're waiting on final word about). So, obviously, I'd like to see as many people as possible while I'm in state -- as well as engage in total abandonment of my Lent sacrifice, because if I'm flying all the way back to MI there's no way I'm giving up crab cheese and SNS fries while there.
I've started wearing her watch that I've had for years. It's wind-up, and gold (which I don't typically wear), and a tad snug on my wrist, but it's not going anywhere for the foreseeable future -- other than on my nightstand when sleeping/showering. She wore this watch for-practically-ever until she gave it to me, and I don't know that there's any object of hers I want of what's left back in MI -- other than her cookbooks, which have been mine for several years, and this little ring I gave her many years ago... but that she requested to be buried with.

There's more... ever so much more, really, but I feel like I've rambled on enough for right now.

One aspect of traveling I am looking forward to is the possible ability to read a book or two. I haven't read anything besides my own writing and plays for NOTEwood in a very long time. While I don't really feel that I have the attention span for it lately, I miss it a lot.
