Muahahaha! Genetic Breeding!
Thanks to scanning the Bed Bath & Beyond catalog, looking at all the cool stuff I can't afford, and the cool pet stuff for dogs I can't afford :(
Well, you know there are labradoodles, and puggles and other purposefully blended breeds... well, looking at the dogs, I remembered since owning a Springer-mix for over 15 years, I've always liked Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, because they've got a rocking Brit name, and they're like mini Springers.
And I started wondering what could you blend with them to make them even cuter and perhaps with a bit more easily tameable hair? Well, the BB&B catalog answered that for me:
But what do I call this impossibly cute dog with an impossibly long hyphenate name? I mean, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel-Beagle just doesn't roll off the tongue like labradoodle. Then it came to me like an early morning bolt of lightning (like the kind I saw at 3am this morning). The official name could be a Cheagle or Chuggle, but my name will always be a Chuckle. Get it?
Now, who's got a beagle and chucky spaniel so I can start breeding these cash puppies?
This is what happens when I get like 4 hours of sleep because of being wide awake until 3am for some inexplicable reason....
EDIT: I see there are cross breeds of this nature, not hugely popular, but they are called Beagliers. I like Chuckle better.
