Turn Left

OK, someone out there (*cough* Laura *cough*) has to watch and talk to me about this week's episode of Doctor Who. And the preview for next week. Because my brain is on visual stimulation overload over what happened and what's going to happen and, and.... AHHHHHHH! I can't talk about it!

Spoilers...

tv, doctor who

I just started watching Doctor Who!

Are you watching the ones as they come out on the BBC or on SciFi?

WOOHOO! Someone else watches Doctor Who!

To answer your question: yes. I watch episodes on BBCAmerica and on Sci-Fi. But I'm also impatient with Sci-Fi being three weeks behind and so watch the episodes online as they air in the UK.

Well, I tried watching it awhile back and I just could not get into it. Then last weekend I saw the first of the two parter with the library and the episode about Agatha Christie so I realized that I should give it another shot. So I downloaded the second half of the library episode and now I'm catching up on season one. :D

I'm right there with you... I tried repeatedly to watch the show over the years and never connected until a two-parter last season where the Doctor becomes human in 1913 England and I absolutely fell in love with the show.

I've been scrambling to catch up with all four seasons and now have to watch season 1 before the finale next week because it looks like there's vital knowledge I need :)

Yeah I saw the Turn Left today...at work of all places. They've yet to ban our site but never fear I'm sure they will take that from me soon as well.

CRAZY!!!! Bad Wolf!!!!! I think that fortune teller actress was the alien assistant to the Master in the Last of the Timelords. I'm almost positive.

I'm available to chat on gmail tomorrow about the good doctor if you'd like.

I will absolutely try and be on gmail tomorrow to chat about the good Doctor.
I've just started in on series 1 'cause I have a feeling it's going to have bearing on the finale episodes...

And you are totally right about the fortune teller/chan-tho. Same woman :)

i thought you had already watched season 1. well, despite christopher eccleston not being david tennant, it is still quite good. the two parter about the empty child are deliciously spooky. :) (i was one of the lucky ones that jumped on the dr who train rather quickly)

also, in non-related dr who news, did you know tim burton is making an alice in wonderland movie? i just found out about it and it sounds pretty interesting...

I stopped last night just before the empty child episodes - now I'm very excited to watch them :)

I am really enjoying Christopher Eccelston's Doctor - not as much as David's, but well, David's just a hot, bloody genius ;)
I give you props for having the strength to hold out for season 4 until it's all been broadcast. I don't have that kind of resolve - I'm like a junkie who has to download the latest episode on Sunday or I go crazy.

I had heard rumours about Burton's Alice, but I didn't know if they were going throught with it or not. I'll have to look into that...
