Wow, it's hot!
This week has been a big old roller coaster of up and down.
The weather has been amazing, beautiful, and hot! I've had some time to enjoy walks with the dog (between studying) and we have spent most of it at the river, chasing bugs and sticks in the water. It's also great sitting in my apartment, two fans going, no lights on, and still sweating. Seriously, it's great.
However, for some reason, I've been in a funk. This could be due to the endless hours of studying this semester has seemed to doom upon me. Finish one assignment, onto the next...but I have my first big essay out of the way, and a 100% average (so far) in my math education course. Good times, we will see how long these good grades last!
Derby is still going, and continues to be both great and bad. I put too much pressure on myself, so I don't always enjoy skating. I worry about being the worse, which makes me not want to go to practice, which just makes me fall behind. But I love the people, and I love that I have something to keep me in some sort of shape! Unfortunately, I won't be skating this Saturday, but I'll be going to victoria on the 25ish to skate in The Big Gay Bout! Yippee! Should be fun. It's nice though, cause our schedule has changed a bit and I have a bit more free time. Much needed, much appreciated.
Best news is that I booked a trip to Disneyland for the first week of September. YAYYY
