Ah life. It's running by me faster than I could imagine.
Derby drafting takes place this Sunday, and I couldn't be more excited, or nervous! I have a preference to which team I end up on, but at the end of the day, I'd be thrilled just to play! The girls on all three teams are super nice, and I know I'll end up on the right team for me. I'm so excited to get all my team gear, and start buying derby gear in my team's colours. I'm a big nerd, and I DON'T CARE.
This week I started going to the gym to work on my cardio as well. I've gone twice this week, and was surprised at how my cardio has improved. Now, this isn't to say that my cardio is good, but it's A LOT better than what it used to be, so I'm excited to see how much better I can get if I keep up the hard work. I'd love to see a couple pounds drop off of me as well, so I need to keep to this.
I got a BIG hair cut this week; the most hair I've had cut off in 8 years, and probably the second shortest it has ever been. I love it, and enjoy the fact that it is the most low maintenance do I've probably ever had. I needed a haircut to mark what is one of the biggest changes of my life: teaching. I start going into the school(s) next week, and I really need to look the part, so I'm excited to start acquiring more professional clothing.
A quick note of my plans for the weekend: shopping, movie, breakfast with friends, draft, relaxing.
