Mom update
In all this bullcrap, I was reminded tonight that there are more important things. My mom is going in for surgery on Wed morning. This is her second one, the one where they remove the spacers and reconstruct what they ripped apart a few months ago. They are going to take skin and other tissues from the insides of her thighs and use it to skin graft the breasts around the implants. Then in 3 weeks she MIGHT undergo 12 weeks of chemo. (BTW this will put her "healthy" in time for graduation). The doctors can't say if she should do this or not. She doesn't know what to do. They said it will help if they didn't get all of the cancer, but if it comes back her body will not be able to fight it and after that its just guessing how long she will have. She asked what I thought she should do and I had no idea. I just want my mom to be around for a long time, and I'm sorry if thats selfish, but its my momma. I wish this upon no one else, its heart breaking.
