"Берлин идет в Донбасс: как Германия признает народные республики" с сайта
Niqnaq Germany plans to independently engage in the restoration of the Donbass. In Berlin, they plan to allocate half a billion euros for the restoration of vital facilities of the South-East of Ukraine. Federal News Agency finds out what’s happening. Vladislav Danego, the authorised representative of LNR at the Minsk talks, said at a meeting with head of the Republic, Igor Plotnitsky:
The issue of preparation of visit of German experts intended to assess the state of water in the LC has been approved. The source of funding has been identified. Germany expects to fund the proposed restoration works from a reserve fund in its budget. Responsibility and time, not yet.
Later the representative of the subgroup on the economy Elena Kostenko reported on two groups, from Germany and Switzerland. The Republic expects that foreign experts will finish their mission before the next meeting of the contact group, at the end of August. While it is known that in Berlin are going to spend €1.5b for the project of restoration of the Donbass. The political analyst and coordinator of the “Donbass for the Eurasian Union” Anton Bredikhin said in a telephone conversation with the correspondent of the Federal News Agency:
In Germany they understand that the APU has done severe damage to vital facilities and the problem should be solved urgently. Plotnitsky voted for the arrival of the German experts. Now the main thing is that the money must not go through Kiev. The tranche must go straight from Berlin to Lugansk. If in the process it falls into the hands of the Ukrainian side then, first, the money will certainly be stolen somehow (such cases are many), and secondly, the desperate needs of Donbass will merely be exploited as a pretext to gain money to restore Kiev.
Despite his misgivings, the expert believes that the current actions of Berlin can be regarded as a positive development. The intention to cooperate with the LDNR, even if only possibly with the mediation of the Ukrainian authorities, means progress in the recognition of LDNR by the international community, as Germany is one of the leading powers of Europe and the world. We can assume that in Berlin begin to realize the wrongness of Kiev (this is all typical Zakh & Plotz bullshit - RB), and the arrival of German specialists and their work in the field will help the German leaders to get more or less reliable picture of what is happening in the so-called ATO zone. However Bredikhin estimated that the process of recognition of the LDNR will be long. Less optimistic is the Deputy Director of the Center for political information Alexei Panin. The expert answered to a question, Federal News Agency:
I would not say that there is any fundamental change in approach. Recall that a formal recognition of the republics already took place at the Minsk negotiations. The LDNR received the status of parties to the negotiations there. The signatures of their representatives are on the documents compiled there. Among those who supervised the procedure was Germany.
