This "posting every day" thing, while it has gotten me more vocal on LJ, is really really frustrating. Sometimes I just have nothing to say, ok?
Umm, How I Met Your Mother was fun. I love when Ted and Barney bond. :D (Poor Barney, though. Also, Barney: everyone likes Batman better. TRUST me. :P )
Ok, somehow The Killers' song
Human came into my head today, and I was thinking about that lyric, the one that gets everyone up in arms: "Are we human, or are we dancer?" My problem with it is not that it's not plural, it's that Brendan Flowers thinks dancers are other than human. So, I was thinking about it, and I've figured it out: either we're human, or we're Dancer, one of Santa's flying reindeer. Clearly. (I would SO make this into a break were I at WBRU, but I'm not, so you guys get it instead.)
Speaking of which, I, um. Am writing scenes from the most bizarre "crossover" fic ever: Sports Night/WBRU. It's, yeah. But Chris Berman, an anchor on SportsCenter, is a BRU alumnus, and Wikipedia says Casey went to an Ivy League school, so even though he's so Dartmouth/Cornell it's almost painful, there's nothing saying he couldn't have gone to Brown. And we have an Alumni Cocktail Party every year, and it would of course be set on their 20th reunion (2006, according to my personal fanon timeline), so this is a moderately fictionalized WBRU. But this is mostly just my cracked-out brain. Don't worry, I won't ever actually post it, because it's clearly only fun for me. (I should not fangirl something I'm actually a part of quite so hard, but I can't help it. And I love that.)
By the way, since we're on music, I recently heard Cake's
Love You Madly (which, um, awesome song, but what the HELL is that video?), and realized that I've pretty much loved everything I've heard of theirs. So I went to download songs, and realized there's a LOT. What are your favorites?
Huh. Turns out I did have something to say after all.
