I'm back!
So, I kind of hit an accidental hiatus over the past few days: it was Spring Weekend, there was lots of partying and debauchery and exhausting fun, and when I thought about working through my flist I just got exhausted. So I'll be doing that now, over the next day or so, trying to catch up, and posting some thoughts on The Office, Doctor Who, Torchwood (ohmygod, guys, season 2 ROCKS), etc. But for now: I'm back!
The Office! Yay! I'll say more later (it's 3AM, and I'm insane), but for now: SO AWKWARD. But good. I'm glad it's back. :D
BONES IS BACK MONDAY. I can't contain my glee. I'm positively giddy. :D
I got an idea while working tonight, and so now I'm wondering if anyone has ever written, read, seen, or heard of a Bones/Torchwood crossover. It's not an intuitive pairing, but I think it makes sense, with all their obsessions with science (Torchwood is not the X-Files - too little of that was pure science, and Brennan would not approve (though she'd like Scully). I think she'd be more willing to accept what Torchwood is doing). And also, I want to see Jack hitting on Brennan, Booth getting all protective, and then Jack turning right around and hitting on Booth (because Booth is just as gorgeous). Oh, the alpha-male clash! Oh, the screwed-up sexual tension! Hee! :D If no one's written it, I will - I planned out a story tonight. So I've actually got a plot! But ew, dialogue.
Oh, also, guys: I got to meet Chris Tomson of Vampire Weekend on Friday. :D He came to the station, was interviewed, played some of his music; it was fun. It, of course, happened to be at the same time as our Spring Weekend barbecue (I mean, the band was there for Spring Weekend, after all), so he had like 20 people in the on-air studio staring at him, but still. Also, he's very cute. Very. :P
