What I hate about this triangle is that the show has SO MANY OTHER THINGS to concentrate on that it DOESN'T NEED the love triangle to push anything forward except the characters, but they're not handling it with the least bit of respect for ANY of the characters and it's just leaving everyone, OF ALL SHIPS, with a bad taste in their mouth.
RE: Juliet's Hair -- I've seen this speculation before, I'd like to point out that when Kate has a purpose, she has her hair up in a ponytail, but when she feels like Fail, she wears it loose, like a new barrier against the world. It's interesting and there's enough evidence to say it's not just coincidence.
I like the clothes thing too. If you noticed, last night before Juliet slipped into the "white" (IMO, faked innocence) sweater, all four members of the triangle were wearing differing shades of blue (and Kate wore the "very dark grey", IMO, overbearing guilt at the start). The whole dark/light phenomenon with the clothing (esp w/ Jack/Kate) has been fascinating!
Also? Kate's Dirty Delimma? SPOT ON.
Dan/Charlotte (Darlotte or Charlan? Nerds United?) is really fun to watch and I think that you nailed it with Charlotte -- the way she softens around Dan... that's what makes it adorable. Hee.
I know they probably think that all shows need to have that romantic intrigue that lasts forever, because resolving it would lessen the viewers' interest (and I know I talk about this often enough with Bones). But honestly? This is past the point where it's still interesting, and they just need to resolve it already. Sure, it'll make some people unhappy because their ship was sunk, but this is making everyone unhappy.
I hadn't noticed that, actually. I mean, I noticed that she wasn't wearing her hair up anymore, and it was driving me crazy because it makes her look even dirtier, but I hadn't connected the two. I'm starting to think that the people who make these decisions are the only ones with a clear vision.
