01) Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Harry/Hermione)
Because it's so bland, I suppose. They get along well, but there's no fire between them. Also, it seems to go on the idea that guys and girls can't be friends, which I hate. (Also, I read a fic once from Ron's POV about how the hero always gets the girl, and so he can never have Hermione, and I loved that idea. How even though Ron's not even the hero of his own story, always the sidekick, the heroine falls for him.)
02) Does anyone on your flist ship #13? (Wilson/Cuddy)
I don't know, actually. Probably a lot of those that ship House/Cameron; they don't conflict as ships, so they tend to have the same fans. If not, can I convert you? Wouldn't that be such the perfect couple? I love them. :D
03) What would your ideal scenario be for #3? (Jim/Pam)
Umm. I think we've already had it. Now go watch The Job again. :D
04) What is your favorite episode for #1? (Booth/Brennan)
How can I choose? They're so much fun! Aliens in a Spaceship, Woman in the Sand, Judas on a Pole, Killer in the Concrete, Glowing Bones in the Old Stone House (mac & cheese!). And so many, many more. :P
05) How long have you been following #6? (Ron/Hermione)
Maybe since Chamber of Secrets. I was 9 or 10 when Sorcerer's Stone came out; I didn't ship then. :P Plus, I think I liked Harry/Hermione at first, because, of course, the hero always gets the girl. But then I realized that Ron/Hermione is so much more interesting, and that they really suit each other.
06) What made you stop liking #8? (Jack/Elizabeth)
It stopped making sense. I still like seeing Elizabeth's curiosity and restlessness in DMC, but after AWE I just can't ship Jack with anyone. He can't really love a person like that - he's too in love with the sea.
07) Which ship do you prefer - #2 or #4? (Jack/Kate or House/Cameron)
Jeez, meme, way to pick the TWO ANGSTIEST SHIPS on the list. :P Probably Jack/Kate, I think. House/Cameron has been losing me a bit; it seems like the producers just kind of forgot about it, which is really weird, as that's kind of been set up from the beginning. But also, Jack and Kate have some great fun moments and really belong together - it's too bad she thinks he's too good for her.
08) You have the power to make one ship non-existant. #10 or #12? (House/Cuddy or Sully/Brennan)
Well. Canon took care of one of them for me (thank GOD. I hated Sully with a fiery burning passion. I really, really did). So probably House/Cuddy. I miss season 1, when Cuddy was still all snarky and harsh and stood up to House. I feel like she's lost everything that made her interesting.
09) What interests you about #14? (Sawyer/Juliet)
Ahaha. Remember that conversation they had in the finale? You know, as they were walking back to the beach, the first real conversation they've ever had? So snarky and fun! They suit each other far better than they suit Kate and Jack. Come on, wouldn't that be endlessly entertaining?
10) When did you stop liking #7? (Sawyer/Kate)
When they had sex. I mean, really, what? I can understand it happening, but out in the open, under a VIDEO CAMERA? That ruined it for me. I used to be interested in the dynamics of the thing, how Kate interacted with Sawyer as opposed to Jack, how Jack was everything she wanted to be and Sawyer was everything she couldn't escape. But the sex ruined that.
11) Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? (Chase/Cameron)
Dear God, no. I liked seeing Chase have a completely one-sided crush on Cameron; made for some interesting jealous moments (which I'm not sure were actually written into the script, so go Jesse Spencer!) and some cuteness. I didn't want it to be MUTUAL, though.
12) What's a song that reminds you of #5? (Mulder/Scully)
Ooh. "Stay With You" by the Goo Goo Dolls. "I'll stay with you/Walls will fall before we do/Take my hand now/We'll run forever/I can feel the storm inside you/I'll stay with you." It's a song about partnership, unending and confident. Also, "Starlight" by Muse, especially post-Requiem: "Far away/This ship has taken me far away/Far away from the memories/Of the people who care if I live or die." Fantastic song.
13) Have #2 kissed yet? (Jack/Kate)
Once. In a very traumatic and memorable episode. And it was exciting and adorable and I loved it. And then she ran. But he's said he loves her! Yay!
14) Did #4 have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely? (House/Cameron)
Hah! Happy ending? I don't think these two understand the meaning of "happy ending". Cameron's not so good with "ever after", as House has mentioned many times, and House doesn't do "happy" well. But they'd certainly have an interesting time together!
15) If only one could happen, which would you prefer - #2 or #6? (Jack/Kate or Ron/Hermione)
Are you kidding? That's impossible! I mean, Ron/Hermione is pretty much inevitable, but it's not definite yet. And all four of the involved parties would have worse lives without their counterpart. Maybe Jack/Kate, because if nothing else, Ron and Hermione have Harry and their threesome. I'd rather they go on as they are now than Jack and Kate, if only because Jack is less likely to self-destruct when Kate's there.
16) You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? (House/Cuddy)
Cuddy goes back to being awesome, like she was in seasons 1 and 2, and she falls for Wilson and lives happily ever after with him. They really do suit each other, don't they, and they'd be completely understanding of the issues in the other's life - namely, the hospital and House. Also, House stops acting like he's in love with Cuddy, because really, where did that come from? I can see sexual tension, but romantic? No.
17) Which of these ships do you love the most?
Probably Mulder and Scully. Because they've got such a fantastic relationship, built on such deep friendship and trust, and there's love there too, but that's not all. They're so deeply, inextricably entwined in each other's lives. That's the kind of relationship I want, even with the government conspiracies and alien chasing, where there's joking and friendship and trust and a quest. Though maybe not the mysterious baby. :P
18) Which do you dislike the most?
Sully/Brennan. Because, as stated above, I hated him with a fiery burning passion. I didn't trust anything he said - he was way too slimy. Like Patrick Dempsey. The two of them, all slippery and con-man-like, no rough edges whatsoever. I like rough edges on a guy. Every single episode, especially Bodies in the Book, I secretly suspected Sully was the murderer. I knew they wouldn't write that, but that was the impression I got from him. God, I HATED him. And I really hated seeing them kissing and having sex all over the place. I mean, was that really necessary?
And tomorrow I leave for Portugal. I'm excited. :D
