bicycle lessons

So here is the deal. Ya'll know how "they" say "you can't forget how to ride a bike" or something along those lines? So I have come to the conclusion that I must have never learned properly. I remember being really bad at it as a kid, crashed into things (like Chelse), falling off as I turned corners, started, or stopped...etc. Well after 7+ years of not riding a bike, you would not assume I had gotten any better, and you would be correct. (Spring break in South Carolina doesn't count as I made kind of a spectacle there myself). Well against several laws of physics (maybe not, i dont actually know any laws of physics) I bought a bike today with the hope of a miracle. But in order to avoid certain death, I don't think its a good idea for me to go out in traffic with out a few lessons. I am probably not quite as bad as I sound, but I certainly make Chelsea look like she has the grace and coordination of a ballerina when we ride bikes together. Ask her and she cannot deny this either. So if you know anything about riding bikes or biking etiquette please help me. Some compensation will be provided. Thanks a lot.
