Holiday Parties
I know, I didn't update yesterday. I think that's because I was too excited about having people over for some holiday cheer.
I ran around and did my errands during the day, then came back and prepped for the party. I made up a yummy cheese/cracker/fruit plate (raspberries add SO much to these!), some nachos/salsa and a cookie platter as well.
I also picked up some french bread to make bruschetta as a fun snack. I had the wine and set up the glasses, turned on the lights, lit some candles, etc!
Everything looked great. Then my friends showed up! Here is a photo montage of all the gifts and some others just for fun.

Homemade wine and some POCKY (YAY!) from Greg...
And an oven mitt with Scottish "steamin'" coaster from Lorissa .. (steamin' = drunk, inebriated, the state of having consumed too much bevvy) ..
I had a blast with my friends and loved giving them presents (and getting some too!). Solo was out and about and was enjoying all the action happening around her cage.
All in all, a great time was had by everyone!!!
